Update
In addition to the Personal Ensign and Woodward, we’re also considering the Pacific Classic for Havre de Grace. We don’t know yet which race we’ll end up going to, but we’re looking at all our options and we’ll decide which race will be best for Havre de Grace.
Joyful Victory developed a chip in her left knee. According to Dr. Bramlage, she has had some inflammation accumulating within the bone of both knees, and this would explain her decreased performance. Finally a chip occurred within the one knee, which we had removed, and the time off for her recuperation will resolve the issues going on in both knees. She’ll be examined again by Dr. Bramlage in about 9 weeks and will hopefully be ready to return to training at that time. Her prognosis is excellent.
Homer returned to the worktab this morning, going 3f in 38.30. Ronald Reagan also worked, going 5f in 1:00.4. Larry is very pleased with Reagan, saying he just continues and continues to improve. Ronald Reagan is entered to run in the 9th race at Delaware on Monday.
The Thinker was also attended to last Friday by Dr. Bramlage. He was found to have an ankle chip that needed removing. He’ll be out for a couple months. Katmango is also being given some time to resolve some minor issues. The prognosis for both these colts is excellent.

Barefoot Mailman & Brimstone Island work
Barefoot Mailman and Brimstone Island worked 3 furlongs this morning at Delaware. We’d have to give higher marks to the Mailman for this work. He did it easier than did Brimstone. The Mailman & Brimstone
