In the very near future I will be disposing of the family music (records) collection. There are many original recordings dating back to the 1940s. All genres, all sizes. I don't know if these could be sold at auctions or fund raisers for a horse retirement fund, Hurricane Katrina, ASPCA, etc. I would rather donate them to a good cause than have some unscrupulous dealer take them for pennies. If anyone has any information (or would like more info), please let me know. Thanks. SmileAJ

Funny you would open this topic today as I am on my way to a charity event which I have been asked to be the auctioneer.

Aj,

The only one who will take them and give you a little money in return that I know of is "PRINCETON RECORD EXCHANGE"

Unfortunately Records are pretty much an unwanted commodity these days. I have a whole storage unit full of them! I'll probably leave them there and when I Die you will see them Being actioned off on  "Storage wars"  I hope Barry gets the winning Bid!!! LaughLaugh  K.

All The Best  Katrina
