Blame, Quality Road, and Munnings all had their first foals born this month…..all colts
Super Saver had his first foal. I imagine in 3 years SHE will win the Woodward, Preakness or the Classic!!!!! Maybe the Derby. Go fillies!

Congrats, we have 4 Indygo Shiner 2 year olds at the farm and they look fantastic! I would go as far as to say the 4 best foals we have had from these mares!

Congrats to all you human grammies and grampies! Hope all the babies and moms are healthy and happy. Just watched the Rachel video with her new colt. Instinct is weird. He keeps walking around taking in his new surroundings and she follows him like he's going to run into traffic or something. How very sweet. Is that how its supposes to be? Do the moms mind you going in there to check on them? Wow, what an experience that must be! You are all so lucky AJ

Mom and baby are doing great. They are enjoying this springlike weather, usually they like to run and buck but this one likes to rear up. I will be bringing the next 2 mares Sun.,and I will get to see her in person, they say she looks really good. The next mare is due Feb.12th and she is bred to Half Ours. The other one is due Feb.16th and she is in foal to Ide.

Tommy…….And a very, very good one at that. I really liked his last race (Beggarthyneighbor). Was that his maiden? He looked awesome! AJ

As of this week Half Ours is ranked 4th in the world of 2nd crop sires. I see Gentlemans Bet is nominated for a good stakes in 2 weeks.

Hey Tommy…how are the mares in foal doing? I read that Zenyatta has been moved to the foaling barn. I guess its a couple of weeks now? Question………..Do owners (and breeders) have a preference whether they want a filly or a colt? AJ

I think most folks would rather a colt, but some sires have better fillys than colts so if you breed to one of those i guess you would rather a filly. My gang is doing good and think i should have my next baby in a week or so.

Zenyatta has been brought to the foaling barn. Pics on her facebook page. Gosh she looks huge! Maybe because she is such a big girl anyway but geez louise, glad I'm not a horse! Wouldn't want to be delivering whats in that belly!
Off the subject but I bet a Half Ours baby in an exacta at Gulfstream today. Thanks Tommy! AJ

Zenyattas web page is updated and all seems normal for her so close to foaling. I have not seen anything about Rachel and Junior. Has anyone heard how they are doing? Thanks. AJ

Just checked out Stonestreet site. Theres a cool video of Rachel and Junior. Boy does he look like a handful! Has more Curlins coloring but resembles Rachel too. She looks a lot better than I ever did a month after giving birth. She looks fantastic! God bless them. AJ
